It’s easy for people to say, “Women can do it,” or “You’ve got this.” But the truth is, taking that first step—especially as a wife and a mother—in ANYTHING is NOT easy. It takes courage to step outside the roles we lovingly carry every day, and reclaim a piece of ourselves we might’ve quietly set aside.
What made it possible for me were the people who stood by me and gave me that gentle (and sometimes firm) push: my amazing boss, my supportive partner, my ever-encouraging mom, my 7 years old daughter and a beautiful discovery I made through an internet search—Wovoyage, the organization that made it all happen. And then there was Jen—our trip leader, who quickly became much more than that. A friend, a sister, a constant presence who helped make the four days flow seamlessly, so we could truly live in the moment and enjoy every bit of it.
Yes, as you may have guessed, this was my first solo trip—and without a doubt, the most incredible experience of my life so far. A journey that was mine in every sense, and a reminder that sometimes, the hardest step leads to the most beautiful places.
Thanks a lot Jenny 😍🥰😍🥰Miss you a lot and please let's plan the next !
